As delicious meals might become the reason why your guests will always remember you. Here are Two Great Chicken Recipes that are easy to prepare but efficacious when served. Be ready to experience the heavenly dishes.

  1. Kung Pao Chicken

This chicken dish is originally from China. It is also called as Kung Po chicken or Gong Bao. Kung Pao chicken is very popular in the United States. Follow the given directions to prepare delicious Kung Pao Chicken:


  • Two skinless and boneless chicken breasts
  • Seven red chillies
  • Peanut- 4 tablespoons (roasted)
  • Two tablespoons oil
  • Ginger- 6 slices
  • Scallion rings- 1 stalk


  • Soy sauce- 2 tablespoons
  • Dark soy sauce- ½ tablespoon
  • Black vinegar- ½ tablespoon
  • Sugar- 1 tablespoon
  • Cornstarch- 2 teaspoons


  • Soy sauce- 2 teaspoons
  • Cornstarch- ½ teaspoon
  • Chinese rice wine (optional)- 1 tablespoon
  • Oil- 1 teaspoon


The first step that you have to do is to wash the chicken thoroughly with water. Cut the chicken into small pieces (cube shape recommended). Pat dry all the pieces of chicken with a tissue or a paper towel. Mix soy sauce, cornstarch, Chinese rice wine and oil in a bowl and whisk properly. Then add chicken cubes to the mixture and marinate for 25 to 30 minutes.

For preparing Kung Pao sauce whisk soy sauce, dark soy sauce, black vinegar, sugar and cornstarch all together in a small bowl. Set it aside.


When the chicken is marinated, stir-fry it in a wok with one tablespoon oil. Cook until the chicken is 60 percent cooked. Set the stir-fried chicken aside. Add two tablespoons oil in another wok. Heat the oil and add garlic and ginger slices to it. Stir the wok carefully, and ad dried red chillies.

Add the stir-fried chicken to the wok and cook it for some time. Add some roasted peanuts. The final step is to add the sauce. Cook until the chicken is coated nicely with the sauce. Serve with white steamed rice and garnish the plate with scallion rings. Delicious Kung Pao chicken is ready to eat.


  1. Chicken Tikka Masala

It is one of the famous Indian chicken delicacies. Chicken Tikka Masala is rich and creamy flavoursome dish of chicken prepared with a lot of spices. Here are the directions to prepare this dish.


  • Skinless and boneless chicken- 1 kg


  • Curd or yoghurt- 1 cup
  • Ginger paste- 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic paste- 2 tablespoon
  • Garam masala- 2 teaspoons
  • Ground cumin- 1 teaspoon
  • Turmeric- ½ tablespoon
  • Chilli powder- 1 teaspoon (or as per your taste)
  • Salt- 1 teaspoon


  • Vegetable oil- 3 tablespoons
  • Butter- 1 tablespoon
  • Onions- 2 large grated
  • Grated ginger- 1 tablespoon
  • Grated garlic- 2 tablespoons
  • Garam masala- 1 teaspoon.’
  • Turmeric powder- 1 teaspoon
  • Ground coriander- 1 teaspoon
  • Ground cumin- 2 teaspoons
  • Tomato puree- 500 g
  • Chili powder- 1 teaspoon
  • Heavy cream- 2 cups
  • Water- 1 cup
  • Coriander leaves- 5 tablespoons


Mix all the ingredients of the marinade in a bowl and whisk the mixture properly. Add chicken pieces to the mixture and marinate it for 2 hours. Heat some oil in a pot over medium heat. When the oil is heated, add chicken pieces to it. Cook until all the sides of chicken pieces turn golden brown. Keep the chicken aside.

Take the same pot and melt some butter in it. Add some onions to it and fry till they turn golden brown. Add ginger and garlic paste and cook for 3 minutes. Then add cumin, garam masala, coriander powder, and turmeric. Cook for 30 seconds.

Add the tomato puree, salt and chilli powder to the pan and cook on medium heat until the sauce becomes thick and brown. Stir the sauce with sugar and cream. Add the chicken pieces to the pan and cook until the sauce covers the chicken pieces nicely. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot. Hence these two great chicken recipes are the most well known among all recipes.
