Preparation Time: 60 Minutes

Cooking Time: 20 Minutes

1 kg of chicken breasts, boneless

2 onions, finely chopped

1green bell pepper, chopped

1 red bell pepper, chopped

1 yellow pepper, chopped

1 tomatoes, chopped

3 cloves of garlic, minced

Parsley chopped




1/2 tsp of ground cardamom seeds

1/2 tsp of ground cinnamon

1/2 tsp of nutmeg

1/2 of ground black pepper

1/2 tsp of ground cayenne

1 tbsp lemon juice

1/2 cup of red vinegar

Vegetable oil





1- Cut the chicken into strips.

2- Mix the marinating ingredients and marinate the chicken for at least 1 hour.

3- In a pot, sauté the onions, garlic, and the chicken in vegetable oil. Cook until tender.

4– Add bell peppers to the chicken strips with tomatoes and parsley. Stir for a few minutes.

5-   Serve hot in Pita bread with pickle, lettuce, and either a yogurt sauce or tahini.
